The extra-dry white sparkling wine with the distinctive Montalbera signature. Fresh, velvety and floral… for the most demanding palates. The sparkling Cuvée Blanche is made by re-fermenting 100% Barbera d’Asti grapes vinified in a unique and innovative manner.
The wine is “sparkled” using the old autoclave method invented by Martinotti (Director of the Royal Oenology Department in Asti in the early 1900s), today known as the Charmat method (lasting more than six months),thereby ensuring an elegant, extra-dry wine with seductive, intense and fresh sensory characteristics, with distinct hints of the persuasive perfumes of green apple and exotic white fruit. Cuvée Blanche takes up and re-launches the “challenge” of great Italian sparkling white wine production in the international arena by oenologically reviewing and historic grape of Monferrato with a century-old traditions.
